A Salisbury driver was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Highway B in Randolph County early Tuesday morning.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a 33-year-old Salisbury man was traveling westbound on the highway, three miles west of Higbee at 12:43 a.m. The driver’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a fence, a utility pole, and then overturned and ejected the driver. Troopers report the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:12 a.m. by the Randolph County Coroner.
