
A famous three-painting series by George Caleb Bingham will bring over 100 re-enactors to Arrow Rock this weekend to relive its scenes.

Re-enactments continue into Saturday, including an opportunity for visitors to take part in the election.
Visitors will also have the chance to tour some of the town buildings that normally aren’t available to the public.
Imhoff notes that the main street through Arrow Rock will be closed to allow the re-enactment to take place, meaning that parking will be limited to the visitors center and side streets. Additional details are available on the State Historic Site’s website.
