Jerry D. Jenkins, 79, of Nelson, MO, died Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall.  Burial will follow in Blue Lick Cemetery, south of Marshall.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born October 29, 1945, in Marshall, he was the son of the late John Jenkins and Katherine Perkins Jenkins.  On June 3, 1979, he married Shirley Lee Britt who survives of the home.  Jerry lived in Saline and Carroll counties most of his life and his career was spent as an over the road truckdriver.

In addition to his wife, Shirley; he is survived by three children: Kerry Harman (Thomas) of Nelson, Tonya Jenkins of Kansas City and Jerry W. Jenkins (Devan) of Millersburg; five grandchildren: Bridget Diggs, Aaron Ornburne, William Pease, Katilyn Schmitz and Noah Schmitz; five great-grandchildren; four siblings: Chester Jenkins of Moberly, Donna Gash-Kidwell of Columbia, Richard Jenkins of Columbia and Monnie Utterback of Hollister; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jerrie Ornbourne; and five siblings: Dean, George, Robert, Mary and Carol Jenkins.
