
Pettis County R-V Superintendent Amy Fagg has announced her retirement effective at the end of the school year, prompting a superintendent search until November.
The announcement came during the Board of Education’s Wednesday night meeting. Fagg is planning to retire after 14 years with the district. After she retires, Fagg says she plans to eventually return to the classroom to continue teaching. Fagg’s last day will be June 30.
During the meeting, the board selected the Missouri Association of Rural Education to conduct the search. The search will last until November 7, 2025.
In other news, the graduation date for the district was set at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026.
