A Marshall man is facing multiple charges following his arrest Thursday at a Marshall residence.

According to Marshall Police, 39-year-old Nathaniel Benn was arrested after officers served a search warrant at a residence on South Davis Avenue, near the Saline County Career Center. Officers say they discovered numerous controlled substances including marijuana, ammunition, and mushrooms believed to contain psychedelic compounds.

Prosecutors in Saline County have charged Benn with manufacturing a controlled substance within proximity of a public school, delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash only. No court appearances have been set at this time.
