Two maintenance projects are taking place in downtown Moberly over the next two weeks.
Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey says Public Works crews are currently conducting crack sealing work on Coates and Reed streets, which will lead to traffic restrictions.
Crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. each day. Each day crews will cover one to two blocks. Street access will be restricted during the 3 hour period. The schedule may fluctuate and is weather dependent.
The city is also working on storm sewer box upgrades. McGarvey says the upgrades will help prevent any smells from leaking from the sewers in downtown Moberly.
McGarvey encourages residents and travelers to be cautious as crews work over the next two weeks.
