The Trails Regional Library is seeking a Lafayette County resident to join their Board of Trustees.

The library system that serves Johnson and Lafayette counties says they are looking for a dedicated, community-minded individual who is interested in helping the library grow in service and scope. Board members serve four-year terms, attending meetings once a month, as well as any special-called meetings. The vacancy is one of the seats allocated to Lafayette County and is an unpaid volunteer position.

Interested residents can apply by accessing the application on the Trails Regional Library’s website. Applications may be submitted at any of the library’s eight branches or by e-mailing the completed form to the library’s director.
