
A number of maintenance projects are planned along several area highways the week of Oct. 6, including resurfacing projects in several area counties.
Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are resurfacing Routes UU, T and NN in Carroll County this week, along with Route TT in Chariton and Linn counties. Crews also plan to resurface Routes W and EE in southwestern Linn County this week. A ten-foot width restriction will be in place, with flaggers directing motorists through each work zone.
Flag crews will also go in place beginning Tuesday, Oct. 7 on Route MM in Johnson County for drainage work between NE 801 and NE 600 roads. Work each day will stretch from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. A pair of Pettis County roadways are undergoing seal coating this week. Route HH between Routes 65 and 135 will receive the work Monday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., followed by Route B between Routes 65 and 127 on Tuesday. Crews have also scheduled pavement repairs to Route Y through Emma on Thursday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
