Two blocks in downtown Moberly are dealing with the effects of a water main break Monday, Oct. 6.

The City of Moberly announced that the 400 and 500 blocks of W. Reed St. have had their water service interrupted because of the break. The outage may affect surrounding areas. Anyone in this area who has experienced low water pressure, or a loss of water service, will go under a boil advisory for 48 hours once service is restored. Affected addresses will need to boil any water intended for consumption for three minutes, then allow it to cool before drinking.
