Discussions are continuing between Norborne and Hardin school leaders over whether to have track and field become the next sport in their cooperative arrangement.
Norborne R-8 Supt. Jennifer Courtney says the board received an update on the discussions during Norborne’s school board meeting Oct. 13. She tells KMMO News that if the co-op comes together for this spring, the two schools will need to review their current schedule of meets.
Earlier in the meeting, the board approved an agreement with AJD Consulting Solutions to assess the district’s technology needs.
Also at Monday night’s meeting, Norborne’s school board accepted a snow removal bid from Kenneth Wood at a rate of $105 per hour, and announced the the district will host a surplus auction Oct. 25. Courtney says the district will post a sale bill on its website and Facebook page later this week.
