The Carrollton R-VII School District Board of Education reviewed a number of reports during their meeting Tuesday night, including the district’s local compliance plan.
Supt. Dr Tinna Croy says the local compliance plan ensures that the district is in line with state expectations for meeting the needs of students on individual education plans. Croy says the board approved the plan update from director of special service Ashley Lovercamp, with one recent change recognized.
Board members also approved the district’s transportation routes for the year, along with an agreement with the Carroll County Area YMCA for use of their indoor gym for basketball practices when the additional space is needed. The board also reviewed an annual update to Carrollton’s assessment plan.
The Carrollton R-VII school board also reviewed the annual health services report, which included details on recent donations made by Carroll County Memorial Hospital to the district to improve student and faculty health and safety. The board also approved a memorandum to expand the hospital’s sports medicine consultation services within the district.
