Three people including a six-year-old boy were injured after a two-vehicle collision south of Kingsville on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old woman from Adrian was heading north on Route T near SW 400 Road, about two miles south of Kingsville. Troopers report that just before 6 p.m., the vehicle crossed into the southbound lane in a no-passing zone, and struck a vehicle head-on driven by a 58-year-old woman from Holden. Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and received treatment at area hospitals. A six-year-old boy from Adrian was seriously injured and taken to a Kansas City area hospital. Troopers added that the boy had not been wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
