Missouri Valley College President Joe Parisi has received a three-year contract extension after a unanimous vote from the MVC Board of Trustees.

Parisi, who began serving his alma mater since December 2022, is the 14th President of MVC and only the college’s second alumni president overall. He has overseen record enrollment increases alongside records in student retention and fundraising, and made improvements in housing and campus life. Parisi says he is thankful and humbled by the Board’s decision.

Parisi and his team just launched a new MBA program, a Master’s in Ed Administration, and a new Cybersecurity program as well as reorganizing the entire Missouri Valley academic structure into six different schools. Parisi also spoke about more programs to come in the future.

Parisi served as Vice President of Enrollment Management at both Lindenwood University and Central Methodist University. He earned his bachelor’s in Nonprofit administration at Missouri Valley College in 1994. In 1996, he earned a master’s in business administration and nonprofit administration. And in 2011, he received his Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership.
