
Michael Aaron Marburger, 33, of Marshall, MO, formerly of St. Lake City, UT, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at his home.
The family will host a celebration of life service from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Marshall. Since Michael’s death was unexpected, memorials would be appreciated to help offset his final expenses. Michael was born on June 19, 1992, in Fayetteville, NC and was the son of Lincoln Marburger who survives of Hale and Patricia Treber Bacon who survives of Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated from Marshall High School in 2011 where he participated in wrestling, swimming, football, and FFA. Michael attended Missouri Valley College where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. He was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Alpha Omicron Chapter Fraternity. Michael worked in Abilene, TX, where he installed fiberware at the Facebook plant, then worked in Mississippi for a year running pole lines. He then spent over four years in Salt Lake City, UT, where he worked for Vikor installing cell phone towers. Michael moved back to Missouri in 2025, living with his dad in Hale for a few months, and then to Marshall in September where he was currently employed with Marshall Municipal Utilities.
In addition to his father, Lincoln Marburger of Hale; his mother, Patricia Bacon of Salt Lake City, UT; he is survived by six siblings: Thomas Francis of New York, Nicholas Francis of Pennsylvania, Kristan Francis of Utah, Matthew Darrin Marburger of Marshall, Ashley Dawn Yeomans (Mikey) of Hale and Tucker Hoffman (Jamie) of Salt Lake City, UT; six nieces, Arabella Marburger, Jocelyn Yeomans, Thea Yeomans, Paizlee Hoffman, Brinlee Hoffman and Huxlee Hoffman; paternal grandfather, Jimmie Money (Wanda) of Marshall; as well as other extended family.
