
Voters in seven area counties that have ballot issues Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025 can cast their votes this Saturday, Nov. 1 at their county clerk’s office.
Voters in Benton and Pettis counties, as well as the Otterville R-VI School District, are considering whether to increase the tax levy for State Fair Community College by $0.10 per $100 of assessed valuation. Saturday voting will take place for Pettis County residents from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the county clerks’ office on East 5th Street in Sedalia. Benton County voters can cast their votes Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at the courthouse in Warsaw, while voters in Otterville will need to drive to the Cooper County Clerk’s office in Boonville for their Saturday absentee hours, or the Morgan County Clerk’s office in Versailles. These two counties will also have their hours from 8 a.m. to noon.
Voters in the Morgan County R-I School District of Stover will also have a tax levy increase to consider. The school district is asking for a 63-cent levy increase for facility and equipment improvements over the next 20 years. If passed, the district’s new tax rate would total $3.9246 cents per $100 of assessed valuation.
Elsewhere, residents in Marceline wanting to vote Saturday on the city’s proposed $30 million bond measure for wastewater system improvements can weigh in on the measure from 8 a.m. to noon at the Linn County Clerk’s office in Linneus. The city’s residents in Chariton County will need to drive to Keytesville to cast their absentee ballots, also from 8 a.m. to noon. The Howard County Clerk’s office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon for residents wishing to cast their vote on the City of Fayette’s proposal to change their elected City Marshal position to an appointed Chief of Police.
No-excuse absentee voting is ongoing until Monday during regular business hours at each county clerk’s office. Precincts are open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
