The City of Moberly has issued a second boil advisory for residents along three blocks of Holman Road in the western part of the city.

It comes after water service was interrupted Friday, Oct. 31 because of a leaking water main valve along Holman Road. The interruption may result in a loss of service or water pressure along the 500 to 700 blocks of Holman Road, along with the northeast corner of Rothwell Park. Any residents who have experienced an interruption of service will go under a boil advisory for 48 hours once service is restored. Any water used for consumption will need to be boiled for three minutes and allowed to cool before drinking.
