Two area residents were seriously injured after their vehicles collided on a highway east of Columbia on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an 18-year-old woman from Moberly was driving east on Route WW in the Millersburg area, when at around 6:30 p.m., her vehicle crossed the center line near a curve and struck a westbound pickup driven by a 49-year-old man from Harrisburg. Both drivers were taken to a Columbia hospital. Troopers note the two were both wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
