Slater Schools will welcome the community to their gymnasium Friday, Nov. 14 for the dedication of their new gym floor.

Supt. Dr Terry Lorenz says the district has a full night of events planned to celebrate the floor’s installation, and its honorees.

The dedication will follow, marking the culmination of Slater’s $400,000 project to install the new surface. The floor is named in honor of Joe Kleine and Roscoe White, who will become the first two inductees into the Slater Legends hall of fame.

The floor dedication and freewill dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at Slater High School.
