The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the reopening of the Business Highway 50 intersection at U.S. Highway 50 west of Warrensburg.

Access to Business 50 was closed in June 2025 as part of an intersection improvements project along US-50. This project is intended to modernize the U.S. Highway 50 corridor west of Warrensburg to accommodate current and future traffic volumes. The project is also designed to improve the safety of this section of roadway by making intersection modifications through the addition of J-turns and removal of median crossovers. These safety improvements will reduce crashes, specifically right-angle crashes.
