Beau Pribula’s return didn’t do enough to help the No. 22 Missouri Tigers in a 17-6 loss to the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, November 22.

The Tigers struck first, with the offense driving 54 yards down the field and settling for a 39-yard field goal. Both teams would exchange punts until the second quarter, where the Sooners would finally break the game open with back-to-back touchdown drives, scoring passes of 87 yards to Isaiah Sategna and 8 yards to JaVonnie Gibson.

The Tigers would score on a 21-yard field goal right before the end of the second quarter, going into the half with a 14-6 deficit.

The Sooners opened the third quarter scoring on a 45-yard field goal. The lead proved to be too much for Mizzou to overcome, as the Tigers were shutout in the second half with Pribula throwing two interceptions.

Ahmad Hardy had 17 carries for 57 yards. Kevin Coleman Jr. led Mizzou with seven catches for 115 yards. The Tigers had more total yards (301-276), but were unable to find the endzone for the first time this season.

Missouri drops to 7-4 on the season, having dropped three of their last four. The Tigers will wrap up the regular season with a roadtrip to Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks. Kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 29, from Razorback Stadium.
