A Versailles man is among three people who suffered injury after a two-vehicle collision along a Southeast Missouri highway Monday, Nov. 24.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 47-year-old man was driving his vehicle west on Route K, when just before 5 p.m., troopers say he failed to yield for a stop sign at the intersection with Route 21 in the city of Ellington. The report indicates that his vehicle then struck a pickup driven by a 59-year-old man from Ellington. The Versailles driver received moderate injuries, as did a passenger in the pickup. Both were taken by ambulance to a Poplar Bluff hospital. The pickup’s driver sustained minor injury and was treated at the scene.
