
The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team improved to 8-0 on the season with an 86-59 victory over Cleveland State on Friday, November 28.
The Tigers got off to a hot start, scoring the first 23 points in the game before the Vikings even got on the board. Mizzou would cruise into the half with a 46-24 lead.
Mizzou continued to roll in the second half outpacing the Vikings for the 27-point victory. Mizzou shot 48 percent from the floor and 85 percent from the free throw line.
Jacob Crews came off the bench to lead Missouri with 20 points and eight rebounds. The Tigers also got key contributions from Sebastian Mack, Mark Mitchell, Luke Northweather, and Annor Boateng who all finished with ten points each.
The Tigers next travel to Notre Dame to take on the Fighting Irish on Tuesday, December 2. Tip off is set for 8 p.m. at the Purcell Pavilion.
