The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work in Johnson and Saline County to begin the month of December. All work is weather permitting.

In Johnson County, shoulder repair work is scheduled on Missouri Route 23 from Highway DD to Highway D on Monday and Tuesday. Brush cutting work will take place on several Johnson County roadways, including on Highway PP on December 3-4 and on Highway EE on December 5.

Shoulder repair work is also scheduled on Missouri Route 20 in Saline County from Highway 65 to the Lafayette County line on December 1-5.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
