
John Anthony “Tony” Nichols, 82, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, November 29, 2025, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Rev. John Frazier and William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born March 11, 1943, in Saline County, MO, he was the son of the late Harry Nichols and Ada Thomas Nichols. Tony lived in Saline County his entire life and was a 1960 graduate of Marshall High School. On July 28, 1972, he married Nelda Beth Thomas who survives of the home. Tony’s career of being a mechanic at Saline County Implement and Crown Power and Equipment spanned over 60 years of his life. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Nelda; he is survived by two children, Leslie Nichols (Nolan Elsbury) of rural Marshall and Doug Nichols (Michelle) of rural Marshall; and two grandchildren, Sydnee Nichols and Coleman Nichols.
