A Fayette resident, 85-year-old Marsha Lynn Davis, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025 at University Hospital in Columbia.

Survivors include three sons: Brett (Sharryn) Hawkes of Bonnots Mill, Tony (Bobbie) Hawkes of Guntersville, AL, and Jeff (Heather) Davis of Fayette; one daughter, Stacey Hawkes of Jefferson City, a sister, Carol Schmidt of Muskego, WI, 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral will take place 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025 at the Faith Family Church in Fayette, with burial to follow in the Boonesboro Cemetery near Franklin.  Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette.  Memorials suggested to the church, Alzheimer’s Association, or ASPCA.
