The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved an agreement for a development project in the city limits during its meeting on Monday, November 24.
The board reviewed the developer’s agreement for “The Hill” project during a previous meeting, but wanted more information on the subdivision before giving its approval. Mayor Bryan Barner says the board decided to approve the agreement after more discussion with developers Steve and Lisa Bailey.
Barner notes that four building permits have been approved for the development project.
In other action from the meeting, Missouri State Representative Terry Thompson provided an update on recent legislative issues. Barner says Thomson’s presentation discussed the congressional oversight the State Legislature has over city municipalities and what he is doing to change it.
The board’s next meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 8.
