The Moberly City Council accepted a bid proposal for Interface Software during its meeting on Wednesday, December 3.

The council approved the bid from Motorola Solutions for the software, which will consolidate the 911 Emergency Communications Computer Aided Dispatch software and the Total Response Protocol software to one interface, according to Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey.

The council approved the quote, which includes a one-time cost of $13,257.89 for the services, and a yearly reoccurring cost of $1,317.89 for four more years of maintenance.

McGarvey also spoke about the city’s response to the recent winter storm that left several inches of snow throughout the KMMO listening area.

McGarvey says that snow routes are marked with special signage in the city of Moberly. Emergency snow routes are activated in the city when at least three inches of snowfall has accumulated.
