
A Slater man sustained moderate injury after a two-vehicle collision Saturday, Dec. 6 in eastern Saline County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to the collision at the intersection of Routes 41 and E around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The patrol reports that a Freightliner driven by a 37-year-old Marshall man turned into the path of a pickup that the 70-year-old man from Slater was driving. The pickup struck the truck’s cab in the passenger side. The Slater man was taken to a Columbia hospital, while the Marshall man had no reported injuries and was able to drive his truck from the scene.
