The Carrollton R-VII Board of Education spent part of their Tuesday, Dec. 9 meeting reviewing the district’s annual performance report.
Supt. Dr Tinna Croy says the board reviewed the information from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, along with the analysis provided by district curriculum director Heidi Smith.
The 81.6% reported for Carrollton this year is a dip from last year’s score of 84.4%. Croy says staff have identified one subject where the district is struggling to make headway.
The Carrollton board of education also received annual reports Tuesday night from the Carrollton Area Career Center and federal title programs. The board also voted to renew the district’s insurance with the Missouri United School Insurance Consortium (MUSIC), which Croy says will increase by $23,000 for the next year.
