The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen reviewed Christmas Holiday hours for City Hall during its meeting on Monday, December 8.

It was announced that Sweet Springs City Offices would be closed at noon on Wednesday, December 24, and remain closed all day on Thursday, December 25. During the meeting, the board approved a motion to allow city employees to take four hours of paid time off (PTO) or unpaid leave on December 24th.

The board also agreed to have City Clerk Michelle Fuehring to seek bids for repairs on two of the city’s snow plows.

During a closed session, the council approved the hire of Christian Smith as a part-time police officer.
