
Eight Salisbury FCCLA members will be moving on to the state competition after their performances at the Region 3 STAR Events on Monday, January 12.
A total of nine Salisbury FCCLA members competed in the event in South Shelby. Finishing at the Gold Level was Luke Britt for Job Interview, Lane Cruse for Promote and Publicize FCCLA, and Willa Heddesheimer for Interior Design. Also advancing to the state competition was Brylee Wallace, Avery Green, Gracie Billue, Jaxson Billue, and Easton Cooper. The state competition will be held in March in Springfield.
Three Salisbury FCCLA members also ran for an office at Region 3 FCCLA Officer Interviews for the 2026-27 school year on Thursday, January 15. Lydea Britt was selected to serve as the state officer for Region 3, Luke Britt was selected to serve as the 1st Vice President of Region 3, and Jameson Schoo was selected as the Vice President of Parliamentary Law. They will be installed into their offices on March 5th in Macon.
