The La Monte R-IV Board of Education has announced the hiring of Dr. James Frank as the district’s next superintendent beginning July 1st.

Frank is replacing La Monte’s current superintendent Justin Thomas, who will become the next superintendent at Pettis County R-V next year. Thomas says he believes Frank will be a great fit at La Monte.

 

Frank has spent 22 years working in public education, currently serving as the Secondary Principal at Crest Ridge Schools. His career has also had stops with the Golden City R-III, Fair Play R-II, and the Bronaugh R-VII school districts.

Frank is a 1999 graduate of Albany High School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University, a master’s and doctorate from Southwest Baptist University, as well as an educational specialist degree from Pittsburgh State University.
