A 28-year-old man from Warsaw was struck and killed on a Benton County roadway late Friday night.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the Warsaw pedestrian was struck on Route BB by a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Sedalia man at 11:41 p.m. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Benton County Coroner. No injuries were reported for the driver.

This is the seventh fatal accident and fatality investigated by the Patrol’s Troop A so far in 2026.
