Police in a city southwest of St Louis say a Moberly woman was the pedestrian seriously injured Sunday, Feb. 22 in a collision along Old Route 66.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Pacific Police Department say that the 50-year-old woman walked into the roadway just before 8 p.m., entering the path of a westbound vehicle driven by a 52-year-old man. The woman suffered serious injury and was taken to a St Louis area hospital. No injuries were reported for the vehicle’s driver, whose vehicle was left in a nearby parking lot.
