A Moberly woman was among two people seriously injured after a collision Saturday, Feb. 28 in Monroe County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at around 5:45 p.m., a Jeep driven by the 53-year-old woman was westbound on Route 154 about two miles south of Paris, when it crossed into the path of an eastbound pickup driven by a 44-year-old man from Stoutsville. Both drivers were taken to a Columbia hospital, with the Moberly woman flown by helicopter. Troopers report that the Stoutsville man was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
