
The Blackburn Board of Aldermen approved the hire of a new city clerk during its meeting on Monday, March 9th.
The board voted to hire Jasmine Head as the new city clerk moving forward, filling a position that had been vacant for several months.
In addition to the hire, the board held a brief discussion on the 2025 budget, with Board President Valerie Hall stating that the budget has been balanced and final adjustments have been made.
Aldermen also approved a resolution accepting the Saline County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The board is next scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Monday, August 13th.
