
The Moberly Fire Department responded to a two-story residential structure fire on the 300 block of Taylor Street Thursday morning.
According to the department, crews responded to the scene at 8:51 a.m. and reported heavy smoke and fire to the structure. The family living inside the home had reportedly evacuated the structure before firefighting personnel arrived. The department, along with mutual aid from the Westran Fire Protection District, were able to eventually clear the scene. Severe damages were reported at the structure.
The department notes that no civilians were injured, but one firefighter was treated and later released. KMMO News will update this story when more information becomes available.
