The Pettis County R-V Board of Education approved cooperative agreements with school districts in Blackwater and Dresden to provide athletic opportunities for their junior high students.

The agreements were approved during the boards regular session on Monday, April 13. Supt. Dr Amy Fagg tells KMMO News that district is offering to co-op with the middle schools in Blackwater and Dresden on all 7th and 8th grade athletics for the 2026-2027 school year.

Board members also approved raises across the board for all classified staff and motioned to request bids for new lights at the baseball field.

The Board of Education also held its reorganization and welcomed Leisha Anderson to the board, as well as returners Sherry Killion and Matt Kahrs. Anderson will fill the seat vacated by Janeene Williams.
