
School boards and municipalities around Saline County are implementing the certified results from last week’s election, after a bipartisan team of election judges completed the process Monday, Apr. 13.

During Monday’s certification, the judges also reviewed additional write-in votes that were determined to have been cast in the election for the Malta Bend R-V Board of Education, which had no candidates filed.
Burton says each subdivision that had a race on last week’s ballot is receiving an e-mailed and printed copy of the certified results. This will include a list of each write-in vote for races where no candidates registered during the December filing period, including Malta Bend School Board and the third ward of the Marshall City Council.
