The City of Sedalia will implement reduced hours for their materials management site south of the city beginning May 1, 2026.

City administrator Matthew Wirt says staffing shortages are leading to the change.

Beginning next month, the materials management site on Route U or Ingram Road will open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 7 to noon, and close Sundays. The site handles drop-offs of recyclable materials, e-waste, brush and other yard waste.
