Motorists around Sedalia will have a pair of road closures to navigate around this week.

Two of the closures are projects that were recently delayed. Crews in the City of Sedalia will begin the project Tuesday, Apr. 21 to replace a stormwater pipe under the intersection of 9th and Park. This will result in the closure of the intersection until Friday afternoon, provided no inclement weather or equipment breakdowns delay its completion. Then beginning Wednesday, crews will close the eastern half of the intersection of 32nd Street and Grand Avenue for a water main replacement project. The western side of Grand, as well as access to 32nd Street west of Grand, will remain available. Crews expect to reopen the intersection Friday morning.

Just outside Sedalia, the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday that Oak Grove Lane at the Muddy Creek crossing is closed until further notice following a water main break. Sheriff Brad Anders added that the closure could remain in place for several days.
