A 28-year-old Versailles man was injured in a one-vehicle crash reported on Route W in Morgan County Monday afternoon.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at 12:23 p.m. when a pickup driven by the Versailles man attempted to overtake another vehicle while on a curve along Route W. The truck then traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.

The driver had moderate injuries in the accident and was taken to University of Columbia Hospital for treatment. Troopers report he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
