In observance of Harry Truman’s birthday, state offices will close Friday, May 8.

That means Missouri State Highway Patrol driver examination stations, as well as Department of Revenue license offices, will close Friday to observe the state holiday, and resume operations Monday. A number of county and local governments may also observe the holiday. However, banks, post offices, and federal agencies will operate as normal Friday.
