Saline County’s girls and young women have until Friday, May 15 to submit their entry form if they wish to compete in this year’s Saline County Queen Contest.

Burton says the contests will take place June 6 during the annual Saline County Barbecue.

The senior queen contest is open for young women ages 17 to 22, while the junior queen contest is for girls ages 14 to 16 and princess contest between ages 11 and 13. Girls aged three to 10 can compete in one of four Little Miss divisions. Information about the pageant, including the entry forms, are available on the Saline County Fair Association’s website.
