The Kansas City Chiefs will have six games in prime time this season, including the first two games of the season.
The Chiefs unveiled their schedule Thursday night for the 2026 season, which includes their hosting Denver for the first Monday Night Football game of the season. The following week will see the Chiefs host the Indianapolis Colts and Smith-Cotton alumnus Blake Grupe on Sunday Night Football. Road games will follow to Miami and Las Vegas, before the Chiefs have a bye for Week Five.
After the bye is a western jaunt, as the Chiefs will host the Chargers for Week Six, before making trips to Seattle for another Sunday night kickoff, followed by a visit to Denver. The Jets will visit Arrowhead on Nov. 8, only for the Chiefs to turn around and visit Atlanta.
After Arizona visits Nov. 22, the Chiefs will have just four days to prepare for Thanksgiving night at Buffalo’s new stadium for a prime time kickoff. The Chiefs will make the first of two trips to SoFi Stadium the following Thursday, visiting the Los Angeles Rams. After visiting the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 13, the Chiefs return home to host another Monday Night contest, this time against the defending AFC Champions New England. San Francisco will then visit the Chiefs on Dec. 27.
Kansas City’s final two games of the season are against division opponents and will have dates and times set later. Week 17 will see the Chiefs return to SoFi Stadium for their tilt against the Chargers, before closing the regular season at Arrowhead with a clash against the Raiders.
The Chiefs will also face the Seahawks and Rams in the preseason, hosting LA on Aug. 15 and Seattle on Aug. 28. The Chiefs will go to Tampa Bay on Aug. 22.
