The Missouri Department of Transportation is planning to repair asphalt at an intersection in northern Marshall on Monday, May 18, weather permitting.
A spokesman for MoDOT tells KMMO News that crews will complete the repairs at the intersection of Business Route 65 and Routes 41 and 240, beginning at 8 a.m. One lane of traffic will close at a time. Crews hope to complete the project that day.
Elsewhere in Saline County, a contractor is in the midst of general bridge maintenance for the U.S. Route 65 spans over the Blackwater River. Crews here will close one lane at a time to complete concrete work and deck repairs. The project began Monday on the northbound bridge and is expected to move to the southbound structure before its anticipated completion at the end of the month.
