A Sedalia resident was injured in a traffic crash in Pettis County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 17-year-old Ethan Hampton reportedly lost control of the eastbound vehicle he was driving on a slick roadway. The vehicle reportedly traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a fence and trees before it came to rest.
Hampton reportedly was transported by emergency responders to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment of moderate injuries.
The crash happened just before 2:15 p.m. on Smasal Road, just east of U.S. Highway 65.
