The Kansas City District of the Missouri Department of Transportation has announced its 2018 construction projects, which includes work scheduled at the I-70 junction in Saline County later this year.
According to a news release, the I-70 and Missouri Highway 65 bridges in Marshall are scheduled to undergo extensive rehabilitation later this year. A specific date when work will commence at the I-70 junction has not yet been set.
Reportedly, more than 60 projects are scheduled to open or be under construction this year for the KC District. Those projects range from high-impact bridge work, as well as interchange repairs to almost 500 miles of resurfacing.
The department reportedly is making a $200 million investment for needed infrastructure in the region.
