Charges have been updated, and a Fayette woman originally charged with one felony in relation to the suicide of an area teenager in 2016 now faces multiple felony charges.
According to online court documents, Harley Kaitlynn Branham originally was charged with one count of a Class D Felony for Involuntary Manslaughter in the Second Degree in relation to the suicide of Glasgow High School student Kenneth Suttner on December 21, 2016.
Updated court documents say Branham additionally has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Aggravated Stalking- First Offense and two counts of a misdemeanor for assault in the third degree and two counts of a misdemeanor for harassment. Branham is alleged to have harassed Suttner, causing emotional distress, between October 6 and November 30, 2016.
Branham originally was charged after the findings of a Coroner’s Jury in late January 2017 for allegedly bullying Suttner.
Branham is due for a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, at Howard County Circuit Court in Fayette.
