A Boone County resident was injured in a one-vehicle traffic accident in Saline County on Thursday.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 47-year-old Christine Russell, of Columbia, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck the median guardrail.

Russell reportedly refused treatment of minor injuries at the scene.

The accident happened at 9:15 a.m. at the 78.4 mile marker on I-70.
